I grew up listening to the sounds of our newfoudland music. Never did I think that I could relate so intently to many of the tracks on Tony's latest CD. It's only through my own experiences that I can smile, laugh, cry, and dance to all the tracks on "The Mysteries Of Life". That one line says so much. When I hear This Old Town, I think of the many summers I spent in what I call my "around the bay". When I hear The Babbling Brook, I can't help but shed a tear, for that song can hold many meanings. I hear the instrumental tracks, and all I have to do it close my eyes, and I am instantly brought back to my grandmothers salt box house around the bay, with the old curtains blowing in the window, sound of sea gulls, and my father mowing the grass.
I have always been, and always will be someone who appreciates the wonders that our wilderness and nature has to offer, and to see Tony put his passion for nature, and for life into this CD is a great influence in keeping the joys that nature has to offer alive. So many times in our life do we ask "What is it all for". All we have to do is listen to this amazing compilation of songs, and you can't help but be inspired, touched, and you can't help but have your heart and soul lifted into nothing but utter enjoyment!! Tony has the amazing ability to take all he has experienced, and put it into his music. Hats off to you Tony, you are a true artist, and a true inspiration!!
